YOKOTA SYSTEM WRENCH

Yokota developed its first system wrench more than 30 years ago. The purpose being the tightening of threaded fasteners at a high speed and accuracy, with the possibility of counting bolts in a group, detecting errors during tightening and interacting with the production line control systems, including the exchange of tightening data for traceability purposes. The latest developments are not only with a torque transducer on the main shaft but also with an angle encoder. By controlling the torque and monitoring angle, all errors that can occur during tightening are detected and can be acted upon.
